Love your videos I have a 98 polaris slt 700 has no spark to the front cylinder 135 psi compression new coil same problems any ideas.

I used a Vibrating tool whey work great on rotten wood carpet and thin fiberglass and no danger of cutting thru .. and most of all very little dust

Im no expert so dont take my comment personal But why didnt you lower trailer and have boat on a 3 point holding both outter rear jack and a jack in center on front I did mine im doing now trailer still there i just let out the air Lots new tools i am using may not been available for you been a while .but your vids are a big help For me thanks

This was my Dad's boat back in the 80's. The area on the side where it had some decent fiberglass repair happened in 1992 when my dad's goofy friend didn't chalk the wheels and the boat and trailer rolled about 100 feet and hit a telephone pole. This happened in Eureka Springs, AR. The boat was taken extremely well care of up to that point, I remember my dad giving it all the love and care that a proper boat needs. For years, it was used almost every summer weekend as a ski boat on Lake Ouachita, around Hot Springs, AR. Dad got rid of the boat when we moved to Eureka Springs, and the lakes (Beaver and TableRock) had rock bottoms. It worried him that he might scratch the boat's bottom because he was used to sandy lakes. I remember this boat being unusually fast, and extremely quick on plane. Which made it an excellent ski boat as it would pop you out of the water within a couple of seconds on a single ski.

i have polaris slt700 set. no spark but compression and everything else is good. also a project slx 650 with a cracked center piston and trying to get that and 1 of the sl700 running, then sell the rest. maybe anyone have parts for trade or sale?i am in centra; florida sebring area.

Love the videos, I just bought a 96 sl700 that was repainted and the decal for the fuel switch is missing, I’m assuming down position is off but do you know which is reserve and which is on?

@FriscoBoatersgarage We have a 95 sl750. It starts and runs fine in the drive way, but when we put it in the water it gets boggie and doesn’t run well. Carbs have been cleaned. Just put new fuel line and filter on it. Any ideas what could be the problem? Thanks

One question: in the inner part of the transom, there is a metal hexagonal fitting( you can see it clearly in your video at 1.46) that is supposed to connect to something...can't find any information or a replacement. Do you know what it is?

Just did it to my boat. I did the opposite. I went from aluminum to stainless steel. Stainless steel wouldn't fit with or without the bearing
